Florida sunsets don't disappoint. I took this about 10 years ago as a freshy in college with my first DSLR, still one of my favorites.

If there was a podcast called Pelagic Pancakes that only talked about Oceanic Manta Rays, Id subscribe. @queenofmantas @mantaguy @thomaspeschak @mantamexicocaribe can we make this happen?

Do it! Make your happiness a priority, stop at nothing to turn your dream into a reality and when someone tells you cant do something, chop that negativity up into logs and throw it in the fire that fuels you. Nobody has ever looked back on life and wished they played it safer and took less chances on their passions, I guarantee you that. And fear is a necessary step in the path to success, it is there to teach you resiliency and tenacity, but don't let it consume you or keep you from fulfilling your duty as a woke ass being. These last 2 weeks in the OSA, my favorite place in the world, have been insane. I almost lost a drone, we lost over $65K of camera gear to the ocean, and I had a freak accident as you can see in these photos. I spend my life chasing adventures, living freely and doing things that scare most people. Everyday people ask me how I don't get killed by a wild animal or lost in the middle of nowhere...those are some of people's greatest fears. Ive never felt endangered from an animal because when you understand the situation you're about to enter, the risks are minimal. But a couple days ago I had a FREAK accident stepping off a boat taxi and almost had permanent damage. So what's the point of living in fear? I do the craziest things and almost got long-term injured doing something normal. Even as I laid in the back of my truck because the clinic lost power and kicked me out (small village), I had the biggest smile on my face thinking about these last few slices of life pie. Yea there were the not so delicious pieces, but Ive swam with Whales, Dolphins, Sharks, Rays witnessed new life bless our oceans and have been consumed by great company and the energy of Costa Rican bliss. The last photo is of me with close friends enjoying dinner in the rain. I Love my life, even through the tough times. Its not always easy...but damn is it worth it. Take chances, try hard at things and fill your life's novel with adventures. Here's to many more chapters of an already great book 🤙PS I'm totally healed and I even walked myself to the clinic, the pain was gone the next day & we have gear insurance Thanks for being there @acr_conservation_photography
